We’re thrilled to share some exciting news about Cadet Junior Assistant Mentor Justin Reaid! Reaid has been a dedicated member of our program since 2020, starting with the Acworth Police Explorers and transitioning to the Acworth Public Safety Cadets.
Throughout his time with us, Reaid has worked incredibly hard, serving in multiple youth leadership positions, sharing his knowledge with new cadets, and continually striving to meet his goals. Today, we’re proud to announce that Justin has been selected and hired as the next Acworth Public Safety Liaison (PSL) with the Acworth Police Department. This marks the first step for Reaid in achieving his dream of becoming a Police Officer.
We are very proud of Reaid for his dedication and hard work. We know he will excel in his new position. This is a significant milestone for our program, as Reaid is the first Cadet from the Acworth Public Safety Cadets, since our transition in 2021, to be hired by the Police Department. His start date will be Monday, August 05th, 2024.
