The Acworth Public Safety Cadet program exists to further an Cadet’s academic education, encourage an Cadet’s participation in productive community service activities, and enhance an Cadet’s preparation for their future roles as citizens, community members, leaders and future law enforcement officers. The Cadet program also seeks to provide young men and women with a realistic introduction to the law enforcement career field and prepare them for a future in the field.
COURAGE – ACCOUNTABILITY – DEDICATION – EXCELLENCE – TEAMWORK – SERVICE
My son joined the cadet program this year and we cannot praise this program enough! Sergeant Mistretta and all of the mentors really put their all into training these kids to be responsible, accountable, and respectful young ladies and gentlemen. We joined because my son is wanting to gain any experience that will help him in his future career in law enforcement, and in just a few short months we can see that this is exactly the program to shape him into the young man that excels and reaches his goals!
