We’re recruiting young leaders between the ages of 14 and 20 years old who are interested in a public safety and want to make a difference in their community.

As a cadet, you’ll:

Learn about law enforcement

Build confidence and leadership skills

Compete in statewide competitions

Have fun while you serve the Acworth Community by volunteering at events and working alongside Acworth Police Officers.

Teamwork and build strong relationships with Cadets within the unit and network with other cadets around the State.

Requirements to Join

Age Requirement

Cadets must be between the ages of 14 years old and 20 years old.

Education Standard

Cadets who are enrolled in school must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Cadets over 18 not in school, must have a high school diploma or a GED.

Professionalism

Cadets are expected to uphold the highest level of integrity, honestly, and professionalism. Cadets will hold themselves accountable for their actions and represent themselves, their family, the City, and the Cadet program with the highest level of professionalism and not do anything to discredit the program. Prior arrests, school suspensions, and negative contact with law enforcement will be grounds for rejection.
