This past weekend, Cadet Lieutenant Mistretta, Cadet Sergeant Combs, Cadet Maynard, and Cadet Corbett participated in the “Youth Leaders of Tomorrow” Camp hosted by Rockdale Career Academy.
During the weekend, the cadets engaged in leadership lessons such as:
“You’re the Captain Now” presented by Chief Hardaway,
“Overcoming Statistics” presented by Major Tate,
“Resume and Networking Workshop” presented by Tawni Fears (The Tawni Logues),
“Toxic Leadership” presented by Master Sergeant Williams.
In addition to these valuable lessons, the cadets participated in several team-building exercises and a challenging mud obstacle course. Each of them learned a lot and we’re proud of them for taking this opportunity to develop their leadership skills.
