On July 15, Cadet Captain Alexis Mistretta had the honor of meeting Cadet Niomi Scott from Cedar Rapids Public Safety Cadets Unit #107 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 
This meeting was extra special, as Cedar Rapids was the original creator of the Beyond the Blue series — a powerful project designed to build bridges between law enforcement and the communities we serve. Acworth proudly partnered with Cedar Rapids to bring the Beyond the Blue series to Georgia which was inspired by their vision and leadership.
It’s moments like these — where cadets from across the country come together with shared purpose — that remind us the future of public safety is in great hands.
