☐ Must be a member in good standing, no disciplinary within the last 12 months (at least 2 years as a Cadet)
☐Maintain 80% attendance
☐Must complete 150 community service hours
☐Attended at least two competitions
☐Have earned a total of at least five proficiency awards
☐Served one term on the Unit Leadership Team
☐ Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA

The mission of the Acworth Police Department Public Safety Cadets program is to provide young adults with a realistic introduction to law enforcement and to prepare them for a future career in public safety. The purpose of this program is to challenge Cadets to strive for academic excellence, give to their community through service, grow into productive members of society, and develop skills to become leaders. Finally, regardless of a Cadet’s future career goals, this program will ensure that every young man and woman will leave becoming a positive ambassador to the profession of law enforcement.
