🎉🏅 **Congratulations to Our Outstanding Volunteers!** 🏅🎉

During the City Council Meeting on April 18, 2024, Corporal Eric Mistretta had the honor of presenting the President’s Volunteer Service Award to five remarkable individuals—four Cadets and one Mentor. This prestigious award recognizes their dedication to our community.

These individuals have poured their time and energy into various initiatives within the City of Acworth, including assisting with events, the Police Ambassador Camp, the Acworth City Clean Up Challenge, the Citizen Police Academy, and supporting the Georgia Special Olympics in numerous capacities. From scorekeeping at sports events to raising awareness and volunteering at games and ceremonies, their contributions have truly made a difference.

The President’s Volunteer Service Award, bestowed in Gold, Silver, and Bronze categories, reflects the commitment and service hours dedicated by each recipient within a 12-month period. In the Teen Category for the 2023 year, we celebrate Cadet Lieutenant Alexis Mistretta and Cadet Sergeant Kirsten Combs with Gold Awards, and Cadet Mikayla Estrada with a Silver Award. In the Young Adult category, Cadet Lieutenant Summer Sosebee receives a Bronze Award, while in the Adult Category, Mrs. Emily Mistretta is honored with a Silver Award.

We are proud of each recipient’s achievements and the positive impact they’ve made within our community. Please join us in congratulating them on this well-deserved recognition! 🌟👏
