Requires 6 hours of advanced training outlined in Drug Abuse Prevention for Teens (50 hours of service for Law Enforcement.
30 hours of service for Fire/Emergency Services) in at least two different drug abuse prevention projects.
The recognition is a blue and silver ribbon bar.

The mission of the Acworth Police Department Public Safety Cadets program is to provide young adults with a realistic introduction to law enforcement and to prepare them for a future career in public safety. The purpose of this program is to challenge Cadets to strive for academic excellence, give to their community through service, grow into productive members of society, and develop skills to become leaders. Finally, regardless of a Cadet’s future career goals, this program will ensure that every young man and woman will leave becoming a positive ambassador to the profession of law enforcement.
